So... the connection here is a bit slow for all these photos. I'll give it another try and hope they post... I can't get the nicest ones to download tonight... I'll try again later. One more bottle for Minalush and then it's off to bed with me.

Just reading your posts makes me so happy! I love reading each thought and phrase. Sleep well and see you soon!
We delivered the kids to the Andrews this morning and headed to your place. Dad has installed the closet doors in the kids rooms. I did the laundry and did some cleaning. Four days from now you will be right here in this house as one big happy American family. We can't wait.
What a privilege to be a part of your journey and to see those precious pictures! I am in tears reading your blogs. We are extremely happy for your whole family. We're praying for you. Matt and Beth Schantz
We are so thrilled for you and are enjoying hearing and seeing God's perfect joy in your words and pictures. Haile & Minalush are perfectly yours - God is good!
We sang Arise by Michael W. Smith at church last night... "Africa sings a new song reaching out with the new Hallelujah Every son and every daughter everyone sing a new Hallelujah"
I am a woman who is trying to find my way through life by following the Lord, living intentionally and relying on God while not leaning on my own understanding nor being held back by fear. And here is the story of what is becoming of my effort to follow, live and not be held back ...

Trusting the Lord for the cost of 2 tickets home...
Financial Update: as of 8/4/09 we are at 100% of the funds needed for 2 tickets home!
Our dossier (paperwork) is in Ethiopia! We have a DTE (Dossier to Ethiopia) date of 2/20/09! The kids and I just shared some Hershey's Bliss dark chocolate to celebrate. I am so thankful we had the funds we needed to send in the paperwork just as it was finished. God continues to amaze me!
We are overwhelmed by the response we have recieved from our friends and family as so many have given very generously towards our children's adoption. Each week a few more response cards come in and it is a great encouragement. Thank you so much for helping us get closer to meeting the rest of our family. Much love to you all!
Again, thanks to everyone who has hired us for odd jobs, babysitting, purchased a sprinkler system, helped at a sale, or given generously. And thanks to God for placing it in your hearts to help, give and love so amazingly!

The Ethiopian Flag
The emblem is intended to represent both the diversity and unity of the country. Blue represents peace, the star represents diversity and unity, and the sun's rays symbolize prosperity. The green recalls the land and hope for the future, yellow for peace and love, and red symbolic of strength.
